I want to look like I was born with naturally straight hair. I need to know exactly how to do it and what type of straightener you would use. Thanks!!!
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? youll need moisture shampoo and conditioner. Apply a smoothing/heat protection product and makesure its evenly distributed. then you'll need to round brush it as you blow dry it. get a big boar bristle round brush and rotate it downswards as you pull sections of hair straight with your blowdryer. you could use a boar bristle paddle brush, but if you can figure out how to use a round brush it give a nicer finnish. Once its dry, use another heat protection spray, and flat iron section by section till you end up with super sleek super shiny hair. When its done you might wanna use a light misting of a humidity resistant hairspray so itll stay super straight even in hot, humid weater. Try KMS flatout smoothing blam when its damp, then blowdry with boar bristle round brush, then spray on matrix sleek.look flatiron spray, then iron with a GHD, Sedu, or Chi Iron. These are reputable names, but if you can find a cheaper solid ceramic plated alternative, go for it. A beauty supply store would be able to help you make that decision. As for hairspray, color.smart gloss and guard, or sleeklook waterfree hairspray. the entire sleeklook line is fantastic , from shampoo/conditioner to styling and finishing products. Try them out to see how they work for you, you'll be impressed.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? a flat iron
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? See a professional. Home products dont work and are damaging to your hair. My best friend (shes white) had hair like a black fro - she goes to a stylist once a week, who uses an egyption flat iron - and her hair is as straight now as mine.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? GHDs. I have thick hair so I use the wide plated ones, they're excellent.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? wash, heat defence spray, hairdryer and some ghd's ;D
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? The CHI is hands down the best flat iron on the market. For intense everyday straight hair, Japanese thermal straightenings are available at spas, but they are expensive. For a guide on how to straighten your hair at home, check out my blog article:

I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? Just like someone else said...A flat iron. What i do when i'm done straightning is i spray a little bit of hair spray, just so it doesn't get ruined or frizzy.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? I too have bushy curly thick hair...A hardcore straightener works well...but there are also things that help relax your hair. try brushing your hair out while you blow dry that way it gets more or less wavy, then go over it with your straightener and it should make it look fine.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? flat iron and smoothing cream
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? well... I have curly hair too. I use herbal essance dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner... Then buy a chi straightner.. it works great. Good Luck!
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? Go to your beauty salon and order a professional straightner - mine heats to 450 degrees F.
Then go to your local Sallys and pick up Ion anti frizz Heat Protection. This not only helps protect your hair from heat damage, but also helps flatten it.
If you're going to blow dry, use a defuser.
Take your time and straighten your hair in small sections.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? i had the same problem buy the ghd straighters they are expensive but they really do work i think there the best straightners going about, even if u cant afford them go onto ebay u mite get a bargin pair there
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? ghds are amazing :)
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? There is a perm method. As well as a straight hair can become curly for 6 month, your curly hair can be straightened with a special solution. Ask in a good salon, becuase it is a risky way of getting prettier.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? well one would recommend u to use any hair straightenner that is of good quality and one that heats up mildly when used offcourse make sure that and use it a lil not so regularly ie alternately in a week so that it doesnt spoil ur hair
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? well you can get a relaxer and that can make your hair straight but since you have very curly hair id say blow dry your hair and part it and use a flat iron but besides that...dont know what you can do or look into some products also....unless you relax your hair i dont think it can look like you was born with straight hair but deffinetly dont relax it if your hair is nice and curly because it may damage....
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? my friend has very BIG curly hair, and loadssss of it!
she uses ghd's on her hair, and it stays straightt for around 2 hours and then starts to go a bit wavy, there is no way it is going to stay straight like a naturally straight persons hair, or even look like it as the texture is different. but these straighteners are the best ones she has used.
you could also get it chemically straightened? but for best results you should go to a salon for this.
if you are going to straighten your hair regularly you will need to use heat protection spay (i recommed treseme's, its a sparay, quick and easy and fairly cheap!) so the heat doesn't damage it and you don't end up with a head full of split ends!
you should wash your hair then blow dry it straight. take a few big clips and section your hair off so you have around half up and half down, now half that amount again (depending on how thick your hair is) straighten it from as close as the Root as you can and pull it down gently in a vertical position. only go over it MAXIMUM 5 times. only hold the straighteners on your hair MAXIMUM 115 seconds or it will damage it!!
hope i helped!
good luck (:
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? GHD are like the best straitners u can get, the good ones are about 鎷?5 though. And to make ur hair look more strait and not frizzy and in good condition use hair serum or heat defence spray before u straiten it hope i helpd ..xxx
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? i've got natuarally cury thick hair, and i find using straightening creams rubbish, but frizz easy serum is good to stop frizz, and ghds are expensive, but definitley the best straightener, remember to use heat-protective spray before starightening otherwise your hair is damaged and harder to grow and straighten next time.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? try using A HOT IRON THE BEST BRAND IVE EVER USED WAS A BRAND CALLED CHI IS KIND OF EXPENSIVE BUT ITS WORTH IT. IF NOT THEN USE ONE THAT IS MADE OUT OF CERAMIC AND TRY PUTTING A SERUM IN YOUR HAIR THE KIND I USE IS CALLED BIO SILK KIND OF PRICEY.
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? I have naturally curly hair. You have two good options.
a) Permanent (expensive)
b) Non-permanent (Using a straightener)
I have tried both options. The permanent one can be done at a stylists. I think its called rebonding, or chemical straightening. You get chinese-straight hair. And trust me, its is really effective. Your hair looks naturally shiny, non frizzy and dead straight. It would grow out though. As your new hair grows-it grows according to your natural hair type. So after about a year, if you look at a strand of hair, you'd find that part of the strand is straight, and the newer part of the strand is curly.
When this happened to me, i just straighten the top half, and it still looks okay. Then after a good amount of haircuts, the straight part is gone. The good hair days would last for approximately a year, depending on how you keep it (avoid tying it etc.). I got mine done in Malaysia for RM 180...which is cheap. About 鎷?0? But I bet it costs more if you get it done here.
b) Do this the manual way. Its annoying, yes I know. But I'm stuck doing this anyway. Get a GHD straightener. They are very expensive, but are the best on the market. Use Frizz Ease by John Frieda. They are also the best. I try to make sure my hairs not dry, as thats the main cause of the frizziness. Also, wash your hair with cold water. Or if its too cold, wash it first warm, then end it by rinsing shortly with cold water. It works.
Don't straighten too often, your hair will coe dry and brittle. Get a trim once every month t get rid of the dry ends due to the straightening.
Before straightening use a heat protection spray. It'd be good to spray it with some shine spray after that. Straighten it layer by layer...
Hope this helps. Its all the things I do to tame this mane of mine. Ergh!
I want to know how the BEST way to straighten naturally curly, thick hair.? I had a friend who had really, REALLY curly hair.
Put straightening products on (mousse and a straightening cream/gel) it blow dry it straight with a paddle/round brush (whichever is easier for you, a round brush with boar bristles is better).
I would blow dry it about 75% of the way and put your hair into sections (3-6, depending on the time you have to make it easier) and blow dry each section with the round brush until each section is dry.
It does take a while to blow dry though, so if you do try this be patient. :) After that she straight ironed it to make it extra straight/shiny. A shine serum will also make it soft and shiny :)
