Does anyone have the GHD straightners, specialised for long and thick hair?

And are they good? I'm thinking of getting them, as my hair is very thick.

Yes I bought some recently, worth every penny. I have very thick %26amp; course hair but the GHD's make it look very sleek.

Edit - I bought the standard size, much easier.

If so my mum has them and yes they are very good, but its quite hard to get to the roots with them...........Id personally get the standard size......but my mum wont be without her wide plates!

Next time you go to the hairdressers as to try them/before you buy? x

yes, they work but its just hard to reach the roots, so i ended up gettin the standard ones instead. my hair is quite thick and they still work great but also do the roots.

i've got them, but i do have the problem with the roots.

good thing i would say is my hair is done alot faster and therefore i think less damage. if i use my sisters skinny ones i feel my hair singes more

Yes I had them, until i stood on them. They are the best ones to get and they tend the get hotter than the rest and straighten faster.
