I have black, semi-frizzy, POOFY, thick hair and i need help!?

My hair is black, cut just below the shoulders, a little layered, relaxed, some what frizzy, and reallllllly poofy at the ends. I just cut my hair and i am not happy with it what so ever. I dont have a lot of money, so I need products that are inexpensive and really work. I have a ball coming up in 2 months and I really can't stand this hair any longer. HELP!?!?!

Special effects silk drops is like 5 dollars and it works great to control frizz. You can get it at wal-mart.

and if you have a flat iron

they also have flat iron spray to keep your hair from frying

I have hair kinda-somewhat like yours, but after I straighten it, it looks fine. Just be sure to use a straightening gel/cream before so it doesn't dry your hair out too much or make it even more frizzy, which sometimes happens with mine. I found a pretty decent straightening cream at the Dollar Tree. xD It's a name brand and everything, but cheapish ones that work really well are up to $6 and can be bought at Walgreens. (its where I get most of mine)

I would try Aussie shampoo. I use it, but not for frizzy, poofy hair. I use the cleanse and mend kind. I would suggest that you go to the store and look at all the ones they have. I know they have one for frizzy hair, I am just not sure what the name of it is.

well i agree with everyone else's answers but also you need to put in a serium or cream (like a gloss drops product)AFTER you style it when its dry also it will definitly smooth it out better im a hairdresser and thats what i do to all my clients that have a similar problem. so use product before and after. rub product on your hands and distribute through your hair......trust me youll see the difference...good luck!
