i don't want my hair straight, i just want the curl defined.

Curly hair turns puffy because it is dry. Try a shampoo with ingredients like Proplyene Glycol and lauryl Sulfate. Dove also works well the Styling Curl Cream Weightless Moisurizers. Also NEVER brush curly hair. A diffuser for your hairdryer helps. make sure you blow it up and get the tips up towards the roots.

You need Biosilk Therapy 閳?it is a little pricey but SO WORTH IT!! It works fabulous and you can use it on wet or dry hair 閳?try to keep it away from the roots of your hair though and not too much product閳?can make it appear oily. Another great on is CHI閳ユ獨 silk therapy閳?but I think it kind of smells like men閳ユ獨 cologne.
