I have very thick and curly hair and I constantly get it thinned. Not sure if this is something you want to do because I find thick hair heavy and hot.

I normally get my hair thinned every 3-4 weeks and find it's much softer, lighter and happier and much easier to style.

I would suggest if you have a short cut to keep it thinned, and it always grows back (the thickness) so if you don't like the thinness of it it's not forever!

Usually if you ask your stylist to thin your thick hair, they're happy to and do it when your hair is dry not wet as it appears thinner when wet.
