I have very long and thick hair. It is down to the middle of my back. I am having trouble braiding. Help ladys
Braiding's really not that difficult, I've been braiding my own hair since I was 13 and it's way longer than yours.
1) Divide hair into three even sections.
2) Cross right over middle, left over middle. Repeat as far down as you can reach.
3) When you can no longer reach, bring your hair around to the side to finish the braid.
Just practice on ribbons or strings until you get the hang of it.

You want like a braided ponytail down your neck? Well you can't do it by yourself unless you have like a 5 sides/view mirror. Just ask someone to help braid it for you it won't be hard since most females like to braid hair. It's not like hard, so yeah.

the only help I can offer is practice, practice, practice! I taught myself to french braid my own hair when I was about 11 because my mom wouldn't learn to do it, and it took awhile, but eventually I learned how to make it look nice.
You have to be really patient, and make sure you have the sections divided evenly, and you will learn that you have to keep the sections smooth and pull them really tight. It helps sometimes to practice on something (you can even use three pieces of string tied together at the top) but the tricky part is once you reach back to do it yourself, the whole thing is actually done "backwards" from when you're looking at it.
If all else fails, ask a friend for help! Good luck!
