You should actually just go to the salon and ask for your hair to be thinned a little. They will usually thin the bottom, create layers and make you look gorgeous. It just makes it more manageable.
Otherwise try Bed Head products for de-frizzing and smoothing. They work pretty good.

i have the same problem, so i've been getting my hair thinned out, the hairdresser will suggest cutting into it or using thinning scissors, go for the thinning scissors,it's pretty cheap to have this done,then also get a leave in hair moisturiser, and use this daily , will help a lot to defrizz, and soften the hair :)
